Do I have to pay to get access to the Patient Portal?

Access to our Portal is completely free. We share this information with our patients to give them access to their health records and help them make better healthcare decisions.

Is having online access secure?

Yes, the information is completely secure. It is protected with a username and password / PIN number of your choice and through SSL encryption.

What can I access through the Patient Portal?

We share information with our patients that we feel can help them and keep them informed. Every practice is different, and we try to provide patients with key information regarding their health. For a complete list of features, ask our friendly staff.

How do I sign up?

Sign-up is simple and outlined in the steps above. You should receive a username and password from our practice via email that you can print out and customize after your initial login. Access can be made via any web browser, or through the smartphone app.

What if I forget my username and/or password?

Our Portal allow you to reset your username and/or password. You can also call the front desk and we can reset the username and/or password for you.

What if I need technical assistance?

User support is built into the web portal or you can ask a member of our staff.

What types of insurance do you accept?

We accept most major insurance plans, along with cash payments. If you have a specific insurance provider, you can bring your information to your visit and we’ll help you figure out your coverage.

Can you see me for both virtual and in-person visits?

Yes, you can choose between virtual visits from home or in-person visits at our clinics. Whatever works best for your schedule and needs.

Do you offer care for children and families?

Yes, you can bring your whole family to see us. We offer care for children, adults, and seniors—everyone in your household can get the care they need.

What health problems can you help with?

You can come to us for help with many health needs like regular checkups, diabetes care, wound treatment, physicals, heart concerns, sleep issues, and more. We’re here for kids and adults, whether it’s for something simple or more complex.

What should you bring to your first appointment?

You should bring your ID, insurance card if you have one, a list of any medicines you take, and any questions or concerns you want to talk about. This helps you get the most out of your visit.

How soon can you get an appointment?

You can usually get an appointment quickly, often within a few days. We offer flexible scheduling for both in-person and virtual visits, so you can find a time that works for you.

Which locations can you visit for care?

You can visit us in person at our Bastrop or Monroe, LA clinics. If you prefer, you can also have a virtual visit from anywhere. This gives you options based on what’s best for your schedule and needs.

Will you help manage long-term health conditions?

Yes, you can get help managing long-term health issues like diabetes, heart concerns, and more. We work with you to create a care plan and support you at each step, whether you come in person or use virtual visits.

Can you get care if you don’t have insurance?

Yes, you can still get care even if you don’t have insurance. You can pay for your visit with cash, and we work with you to make sure you get the help you need.

Who will you see during your visit?

You will see any of our caring healthcare providers during your visit. We make sure you get personal attention.

What is your policy if you need to cancel or change an appointment?

If you need to cancel or change your appointment, just let us know as soon as you can. We understand things come up, and we’ll work with you to find a new time that fits your schedule. There are no extra fees for rescheduling if you give us notice ahead of time.

How do you pay for your visit, and when is payment due?

You can pay for your visit using insurance or cash. If you’re using insurance, we’ll handle the billing for you. If you’re paying cash, payment is due at the time of your visit. We make the process simple, so you know what to expect.

Do you give refunds if you miss your appointment or need to cancel?

If you miss your appointment without giving us notice, you may not receive a refund. If you let us know ahead of time and need to cancel, we can usually refund your payment or reschedule without extra fees. It’s always best to inform us as soon as possible.

Is there a fee for late arrivals or running late to your appointment?

If you arrive late, we’ll do our best to see you the same day. There’s usually no extra fee for being late, but your visit may be shorter if we have other patients scheduled. If you’re very late, we may need to reschedule your appointment.

Yes, you can get a price estimate before your visit. Just let us know what services you need, and we’ll give you an idea of the costs. This way, you can plan ahead and feel comfortable about what to expect.
