Dr. Barbara Beard is a board certified family medicine physician. A graduate of the University of North Texas Health Science Center, She completed Family Practice Residency at LSU Health Science Center. Dr. Beard has spent her career specializing in treating patients with Diabetes, concentrating on Diabetic foot and wound care. When she isn’t seeing patients, she is spending time with family, or in her sewing room working on embroidery, or quilting projects.
Tiana Williams is a board certified nurse practitioner. She has been practicing nursing for over 20 years. She has worked with patients of all ages. Her past nursing history includes, maternal-child nursing, medical-surgical, labor and delivery, women’s health psychiatry and nursing eductaion.
Daphne White completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree with a concentration in Family Practice from Grambling State University. She then earned her Post-Master’s Certificate with a concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health. Daphne is thankful to be in a profession where she not only provides services to patients but also educates them.
Danita R. Potter has dedicated 30 years as a registered nurse, 25 years to higher education, and 7 years as a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. As prior CEO of Reframing for Life, LLC, Danita Potter’s passion is providing exceptional mental health care to children, adolescents, and adults. In 2024, She was the recipient of the CAMEO Award (Recognized for Medicine & Healthcare Contributions) by Omicron Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She recently served as Dean and Professor at Hampton University and currently teaches as an adjunct professor in the Psychiatric Nurse practitioner program at Northwestern State University where she previously served as Full Professor and Director of the RN-BSN program. She has been nominated as NP Excellence Award by the Louisiana Association Nurse Practitioner (LANP) and recognized in the Ruston Daily Leader as News on Women in Mental Health. In 2020, Ms. Potter spearheaded the organization and development of the Autism Clinic, part of Monroe Pediatrics Clinic for Communiheatlh (FQHC). As a national peer reviewer by CCNE (2025), She has led accreditation review processes for more than 8 programs. Past positions included Chief Nursing Academic Officer to the School of Nursing, Grambling State University, Grambling, Louisiana and Assistant Professor at the University of Louisiana Monroe. Her findings have been published at the international, national, and state level. Her awards and honors are numerous and include being named a Fellow in the Leaders in Academic Nursing Programs (LANP). For over two decades, Danita serves as Editor in Chief of Symbiosis Nursing and Health Journal, Associate Editor for International Journal of Caring Sciences, Peer Reviewer to Sigma Theta Tau International Journal of Scholarship, and Editorial Board Member to others. Additionally, she was inducted into the Carroll High School Distinction as an Outstanding Alumni and was named a national Minority Nurse Faculty Scholar in the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and Johnson and Johnson supporting her doctoral studies. In 2018, she was nominated as Nightingale Award by the Louisiana State Nurses Association and was the recipient of the Greatest 100 Nurses of Louisiana by the Foundation of Louisiana Nurses.
